"I WAS IN PRISON
AND YOU VISITED ME." -Matthew 25:36
Our Mission & Vision
PJPS envisions a society that rebuilds lives, rekindles hope, and restores dignity in all those affected by incarceration.
PJPS is a ministry that shares the transforming love and mercy of God through the holistic rehabilitation of incarcerated persons, their families, and the prison community as a whole.
We SEEK God in all things and in all circumstances. We express our faith by being Christ-like in thoughts, words, and deeds.
We SEE God in all things and in all circumstances. We appreciate both blessings and difficulties.
We SHARE God's love and mercy by being man and woman for others. We freely and joyfully give our time, talent, and treasure in all things and in all circumstances.
Established as a foundation in 1994, it is based at the new Bilibid Prison Reservation in Muntinlupa City.
A Brief History
What started as a Jesuit priest visiting inmates in New Bilibid Prison became a foundation established in 1994 and located in National Bilibid Prisons Reservation. Since then, 18 Jesuit priests, dozens of staff, and thousands of volunteers have strived for restorative justice for inmates, their affected communities, and Philippine society.
