Many organizations and human rights advocates are once again challenge as the House committee on justice approves on lowering the Minimum Age of Criminal Responsibility (MACR) from 15 years old to 9 years old.
Over 300 individuals and organizations, including the Philippine Jesuit Prison Service, strongly opposing the movement to lower the minimum age of criminal responsibility (MACR).
